Solar Panels

Solar Panels come in different shapes and sizes depandant on their application and required power output.  There are two types of photovoltaic cell used, Monocrystalline (Mono) & Polycrystaline (Poly).  Monocrystaline is generally the prefered choice as they are more efficient and last longer than Polycrysalline solar panels.

Solar panels come in different packages, again dependant on the required application.  Rigid Panels (Aluminium framed) are the most common type and generally have a longer lifespan. Flexible Panels are lightweight and slightly bendable, this makes them ideal for curved roofs such as a boats or caravans, they also lay flat on the roof reducing noise & drag.
